Kids of the DRC
There is more detail about this school in Shannon’s blog, but I just wanted to highlight two kids. There was the cutest girl you have ever seen who wanted to sing and kept trying to get her time. When she finally did get the floor she could barely get her little voice loud enough to overcome the clapping, but she didn’t stop trying! Then there was a little boy who kept looking at me. Every time I looked down, this little guy was staring at me. Finally, I winked at him and after a few seconds of him processing this, he contorted his face and winked back!
